Auxiliary
The American Legion Auxiliary (ALA), was established in November of 1920 and is made up of women who have family members who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States. ALA members and additional volunteers continually work towards the reinforcement of our mission of service to veterans, military and their families. Currently, across the country, ALA members continue to provide support to military families as they cope with the effects of multiple deployments. The Auxiliary's focus is centered in three essentials areas: Veterans/Military Support & Advocacy, Family Support and Youth Development. We are currently focused on supporting children & youth and veterans both locally and nationally; which includes raising money for various organizations like Girls State and Children & Youth.
