Sons of the American Legion

The Sons of the American Legion (SAL) was founded in September of 1932 and exists to honor the service and sacrifice of Legionnaires. SAL members are male descendants of people who served in the United States Armed Forces during times specified by the American Legion.  As part of the Legion family, the SAL is committed to preserving American traditions and values, improving the quality of life of our nation's children, caring for veterans and their families and teaching the fundamentals of good citizenship. For more detailed information about the SAL, please click the link and visit our national website:  https://www.legion.org/sons
